Terms and conditions of service
In order to protect our employees, our clients and ourselves all Daisies services are provided subject to the following Terms and Conditions. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Arrangement of Service
All arrangements are made between yourself (the client) and Daisies Ltd and not between yourself and any individual employees, who are not empowered to make or amend any arrangement with clients. Although Daisies will make every effort to be flexible, any variation by the client to the hours, time, duration or content of the service must be agreed in advance with Daisies who reserve the right to reallocate staff wherever necessary, Daisies may need to change dates and times of service when staffing levels are low, this will be agreed with the customer at the time.
Clients agree not to offer private employment of any kind to Daisies’ employees either during or within 3 months of their leaving Daisies’ employ. In the event of such an offer being made, Daisies Ltd reserve the right to terminate the service and the client will become liable for our agency charge of £200 to cover Daisies’ recruitment and administration costs.
Insurance
The public liability of Daisies’ employees is properly issued and clients have recourse to Daisies’ own insurers in the event of accidental damage resulting from negligence of Daisies or its employees. Daisies insurance scheme is an additional safeguard and not a replacement for a clients own individual household or other contents insurance. All claims must be submitted in writing, within seven days of occurrence. Claims will be invalidated if our insurers are unable to substantiate claims. Insurance claims are processed separately and customers may not withhold payment for services rendered or otherwise offset payment for the service in anticipation of a settlement without the express written agreement of Daisies. The customer agrees to take reasonable precautions to protect items of value including items of purely sentimental value.
Cancellation
All cancellations are subject to a charge of 60% of the price of the service. A cancellation will be deemed to have occurred if less than two working days notice is given requesting temporary suspension of the service. If Daisies employees are unable to gain access to the property or work areas through no fault of their own; or less than 28 days notice is given for the permanent cancellation of the service.
Payment Terms
Regular services: Invoices are issued four weekly and are payable by the date shown on the invoice.
Payment may be made by BACS or cheque – details will be on the invoice
One-Off services: These are payable on the day of completion of the work. We may request a 50% deposit in advance bookings.
Non-payment
It is customary for legal proceeding to be implemented by Daisies to recover bad debts.
Complaints
Daisies is concerned to provide a worthwhile service to its clients and in the event that a client has any complaints, including insurance claims, the client shall firstly give written notice of such complaint within seven days of notification. Until such notification, and until the completion of our investigations within the time set down, the client shall not publish such complaint to any other person, company or organisation.
